LouisaHead Chef Dorney Lake
I first joined Sodexo as a commis chef at Eton College in 2010 after being spotted at a Culinary Salon competition in my last year of college. I competed solidly for many years, winning several big competitions as well representing the country in Leipzig in 2013, which in turn helped me to move up the ladder within the kitchen. I finally left Eton in 2015 after winning Senior Sodexo Chef of The Year as Sous Chef. From there I moved to Wycombe Abbey to support their fine dining team, and then onto Dorney Lake which is where I currently hold the Head Chef Role.
Although I no longer compete regularly I still get involved in some of the get great things within the company including the Independences Scholarship programme. I also have the pleasure of being a part of their culinary team and which has been a great success.
I love my job here at Dorney Lake and getting to work alongside some great chefs and with a great team is very rewarding.
