Lea and Sarah ‘best in show’ among top honours for chefs

Independents by Sodexo chefs scooped all the top honours at Sodexo’s annual chef skills showcase event at the recent Salon Culinaire.

Congratulations to Lea Eastman-Thompson and Sarah Wade, head chef and sous chef at LVS Ascot, who earned the overall best in show, best in class and best static titles for their three course meal for two guests.

Congratulations also go to relief chef Daniel Trace who was the best in show winner for his live cooking display in the Grand Prix dish of the day category.

More than 800 competitors from across all parts of Sodexo’s UK and Ireland business participated in the Salon Culinaire in a variety of categories.
